Yes - You are free to cancel the subscription whenever you want to, although when you cancel the subscription any pending orders will be stopped from being shipped (Also, you cannot pause the subscription service during your trial period). If you require a break from the service you can always pause the subscription and reinstate at a later date. 

When you signup for the subscription service , you will be required to setup a payment method (Although you have 1 month free trial). From thereon in, all subsequent payments will be taken on the same date of each month starting from one month after you signed up.
